The LINLEY Spring Party

Back

Luxury Topping celebrated London Craft Week by toasting LINLEY on their 30th Anniversary. We sipped on Nyetimber and savoured the extensive collection of cheese and cured ham provided by our favourite, Daylesford as the Cleo Mitchell gave us a tour of the store.

The new collection based on David Linley’s travels to the Middle East channels this season’s trend of vibrant colouring. Their crystal glassware is composed of bright blues and oranges, which follow through to their latest collection of trinket boxes. This year’s centrepiece the Girih Treasure Chest, designed in a wonderful Middle Eastern print, inspired by an eight-pointed star.LINLEY Girih Stacking Trinket Box CroppedOur personal favourites were the pink satin Astonette Chair and footstool; perhaps not the most practical but the dazzling sleek design is an eye catcher for any home. The new Swiss sofa is elegant and timeless. The model of Highclere Castle, which was home to Downton Abbey, is a jewellery box befitting a Duchess to house at least a couple of million baubles and gems. You can commission LINLEY to create a jewellery box based on the design of your home.LINLEY Astonette Chair pink sateen Cropped

LINLEY Highclere Castle Jewellery BoxBreaking the boundaries of imagination, the LINLEY barware and bespoke bars are the element of everyone’s desire. The tectonic bar is a thing of beauty, inspired by the tectonic plates that make up the Earth, hand painted in gold leaf this bar is simply magnificent. Just when you didn’t think it could get any better we were introduced to the Dusk Cocktail Console bar, in the LINLEY Lightscape collection. The bar depicts a city at night where the sun has set and the city is illuminated by the lights below, not only is the bar beautiful to admire but it also features a levitating bar tray. It really doesn’t get better than this! This collection serves not only in its practical functionality but also as an object of art.LINLEY Levitating Dusk Cocktail ConsoleNot only do LINLEY make exquisite items to decorate the home and store jewels, they also have an impressive interior design department and a bespoke kitchen division headed up by the efficient Rob Watsham.
